Broughton Bank Cottage

A pretty stone cottage just outside of Cartmel village, Broughton Bank Cottage has been completely renovated with sustainability in mind. The owners live on site for any help you might need, but the cottage itself is private and peaceful. Sleeping 4 people, there is a double bedroom and a twin bedroom, plus an open plan living room/diner/kitchen with underfloor heating. Outside is a raised garden overlooking woodland. In the garden you’ll find seating and a herb garden.

On the same site is a second eco-friendly cottage, Woodland Cottage, and Broughton Bank Perry and Cider, which sells sustainably-made cider.

Arrive by Public Transport

Mainline train to Preston or Lancaster, then local train to Grange-over-Sands. From here, the only real way to get to the cottage is via taxi (12 minutes).
